MeetingNevents specializes in planning, staffing and management of meetings, events, conferences & conventions.  Headquartered in Boston, with offices in NYC, Washington DC and opening this year in Orlando, San Francisco and Chicago.  Our goal is to create a team and assist our clients in convention cities across America!

Cindy Thorp BIO

Born and raised in East Freetown MA, Cindy is an accomplished meeting planner who has worked for many Fortune 500 companies throughout her 30 year career.  In 2015, Cindy created MeetingsNevents Inc, an agency dedicated to the meetings industry

Cindy’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination and contagious enthusiasm have earned her a reputation of unparalleled excellence.  Cindy can execute a meeting or event flawlessly while maintaining a pleasant, calm and helpful demeanor which ensures an enjoyable and successful experience for her clients and attendees alike.

Cindy is an active member of the meetings and event industry and believes in giving back to the community through mentoring, volunteering and creating standards of excellence while raising the bar of professionalism.  Cindy is an enthusiastic member of MPI, Greater Boston CVB, Providence/Warwick CVB, ASAE and PCMA.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoys the Patriots, Red Sox, traveling, dancing and spending time with her family.
